Kaurs Connect

Kaurs Connect was born out of a shared vision among a group of sisters to craft a space where women could openly discuss challenging topics through a Sikh lens. Kaurs Connect offers a supportive, inclusive and safe space for Sikh women to come together in-person, make friends and grow.

Kaur History

Sikh history is rich with examples of women who advocated for human rights and women's rights. Their contributions showcase the principles of equality and justice embodied by Sikhi. P2W is working on a series of projects to document and preserve this breathtaking history.

Panthic Public Speaking

Drawing inspiration from the legacy of Shaheed Bibi Upkar Kaur and Bibi Bimal Kaur, the Panthic Public Speaking course empowers Sikh women to develop confidence and raise their voices about Sikh political issues.

From visual art and film animation to music and podcasting, there is a well of creativity among Sikh girls and women that deserves celebration. P2W aims to highlight and support the immense talent of our sisters.

Kaur Kirtan

Inspired by a group of kaurs who felt a yearning to begin a kirtan program led by young girls, just like themselves, Kaur Kirtan is inclusive and open for all members of sangat to attend.

Crafted by young kaurs who felt there wasn't enough representation for Sikh women in International Women's Day programming, The Backbone of Sikhi project sheds light upon powerful Sikh women throughout history.
